What is Two Factor Authentication
We’re committed to keeping your information safe. As part of that commitment, we have introduced Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for all centre staff users of ManageAssess to provide an extra layer of protection for your account. To clarify, 2FA is not being introduced for learners currently.
From May 2026, you will be asked to enter a short verification code, sent to your chosen device and authentication app, such as Google or Microsoft authenticator, each time you sign in. This process takes only a few seconds and significantly reduces the risk of unauthorised access.

Trouble shooting
If you need to reset your 2FA, for example you have changed the device used when you initially set it up or you've changed your authentication app, please email a request to customersupport@vtctskills.org.uk
